About The Artist

French sculptor Véronique Guerrieri crafts a range of imaginative sculptures, from intimate tabletop pieces to grand public monuments. Her work, characterized by its enchanting simplicity and universally relatable forms, appeals to both children and adults, nurturing the spirit of the inner child. This connection is evident in her iconic rabbit sculptures, which she describes as "inanimate objects brought to life through the boundless imagination of a child who imbues them with magical powers." Guerrieri employs a variety of materials—including plaster, ceramics, resin, metal, bronze, and stainless steel—bringing a rich diversity to her artistic practice.

Throughout her career, Guerrieri has collaborated with prominent international artists like Morio Matsui, Rancillac, and Klasen. Notably, she assisted Arman in creating the world's largest sculpture in 1994, the "Hope for Peace" monument in Beirut, a formidable structure of concrete, tanks, and military vehicles that stands 105 feet (32 meters) tall. Born in Boulogne Billancourt, France, in 1954, Guerrieri studied at the École du Louvre and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her unique vision and exceptional skill have firmly established her in the contemporary art scene.
