CELEBRATE WORLD ART DAY ALL OVER THE WORLD AND IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME
World Art Day is here. Established by the International Association of Art in 2012, World Art Day is celebrated around the world as a way to bring attention and appreciation to the fine art world. It was founded on the idea that art is a unique and crucial way to spread information across cultures, and often sparks curiosity and conversation. World Art Day allows for a recognition of the power of the arts and even encourages their inclusion in education. An arts education can further personal expression, peace, and a deeper understanding of other people.
It is a day to call attention to power that art brings to life, and is even meant for practicing one's own art form as a way to relieve stress and participate in a new and potentially rewarding hobby.
World Art Day is held annually on April 15th, in commemoration of the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci, painter of the Mona Lisa and one of art history's most well-known figures. Centuries alter, Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is still very relevant to contemporary artists. She can be found in Dorit Levinstein's “Mona Lisa,” F&G's “Disguised Mona,” Angelo Accardi's “Mona Lisa Talk,” and Jisbar's “Rockstar Super Mona."
At Eden Gallery, we are proud to be one of the leading contemporary art galleries in the world. As part of World Art Day, visit your nearest Eden Gallery to soak in the beautiful colors and vibrant artworks of our artists, teeming with life. Allow yourself to be inspired by the infinite possibilities of the arts.
