Global graffiti artist Alec Monopoly’s vibrant and fearless signature artworks depict a paradoxical message about luxury and excess. Through symbols from the board game Monopoly, the artist uses his work to create a conversation about consumerism and capitalism in modern society to stir up a reaction in the viewer and sparking individual thought and opinions. Explore the elusive artist’s masterpieces in Mykonos on July 27th and discover the infinite realms of Monopoly’s creativity.
Angelo Accardi uses his artwork to illustrate conflicting aspects of cultural symbols, icons, world leaders, and even cartoons all within the same painting. Accardi’s paintings and sculptures are both open-ended narratives on the way modern-day society operates, and include interactions of contrasting eras and events from the past and present. Accompany Accardi in Mykonos on August 18th and revel in his unique artistic vision that is bound to provoke thought and fascination through every piece of artwork.
Gal Yosef, a self-taught prodigy in the field of 3D art and digital sculpting, is skilled in bringing well-loved cartoon characters to life. His reimagined designs and michstivious twists on cartoon characters, and will give visitors the opportunity to discover the endless depths of the cartooniverse. ‘Kunst Met Een R’ also specializes in unique 3D art, yet the dutch duo decided to take their skills in another direction. The pair create 3D hand-crafted art that is arranged within shadow boxes to depict amusing yet intimate scenes inspired by typical affairs. The artists create magnified and exaggerated characters to create a sarcastic dialogue on popular culture and societal norms.
