Swarovski Crystal Art

In the summer of 2022, Eden Gallery was excited to announce a new brilliant contemporary artist Eddy Maniez who will showcase his beautiful sculpture collection across the Eden Gallery locations.

Born in 1969 in Grasse, Alpes-Maritimes, France, Maniez, brings his sculptures to life through the use of color, lines, and movements of silicone dots and beautiful Swarovski crystals.

Maniez invented the pointillist technique based on silicone while mastering all kinds of supports such as ceramics, resin, wood, furniture, and interior walls. His technique consists of using thousands of silicone dots which are then all applied with the naked eye and sealed with carefully chosen, radiant Swarovski crystals. The set of dots creates expressive curves that are sharp to the eye but soft to the touch.

He was inspired by the optical work of Victor Vasarely, the emotions through the paintings of Nicolas de Staël, the pictorial expression of Van Gogh, and many other celebrated artists. Through these influential figures and his own artistic touch, he continues to bring his artwork to life and has gained worldwide recognition for his colorful and exceptional sculptures. The artistic process is a one-of-a-kind experience and the final product is a call to emotion and imagination.
