Basel Week Miami

Every year Basel Week Miami brings together thousands of collectors, galleries, and artists from across the globe, welcoming the art world to a celebrity-studded atmosphere, chic hotels, upscale dining, and glamorous events. This year, Eden Gallery’s Miami location will host a series of exhibitions, including several new collections specially curated for Basel Week by Eden’s spectacular artists Alec Monopoly, Eduardo Kobra, Gal Yosef and Angelo Accardi.

Designed to provoke thought and fascination through every work of art, Angelo Accardi’s artwork projects an open-ended narrative on how modern-day society operates and includes interactions of contrasting eras and events from the past and present. In addition, Accardi uses his art to illustrate conflicting aspects of cultural symbols, icons, world leaders, and even cartoons, all within the same painting. Utilizing bright colors and bold lines, Eduardo Kobra creates larger-than-life murals for everyone to marvel at. While maintaining a playful color palette, Kobra uses his art to spread awareness on essential subjects while bringing to life notable figures from the past. Global graffiti artist Alec Monopoly’s vibrant and fearless signature artworks never fail to stir up a reaction within his audience as he creates a conversation about consumerism and capitalism in modern society. The artist depicts a paradoxical message about luxury and excess through symbols from the board game Monopoly, provoking individual thoughts and opinions at each glance.
