Square Dance - David Kracov - Eden Gallery

About The Artwork

"Square Dance" by David Kracov is a 3D metal wall sculpture that artistically blends literal and figurative elements in a visually playful manner. This three-layer artwork, crafted from galvanized metal and painted with acrylics, showcases the word 'DANCE' in a style that mimics lively brush strokes. The backdrop features a square, also created from metallic brush strokes, adding a layer of depth and complexity to the a. Kracov's talent for wordplay and visual puns is evident in this sculpture, as he invites viewers to dance between the literal interpretation of a square and the spirited action of dancing. The artwork becomes an interactive experience, encouraging a double-take and a deeper appreciation of the cleverness behind the title "Square Dance." This work celebrates dance and form and is a testament to Kracov's playful and thoughtful approach to art.
