The sculpture, representing a fusion of pop art and musical iconography, reflects the vibrancy and energy of Haring's work while also celebrating the universal language of music. "Pop Music Guitar" is a vivid expression of Kracov's admiration for Haring and a testament to the enduring influence of pop art in contemporary culture. This work invites viewers to appreciate the interplay between different art forms and the creative symphony they can produce together.
Born in Boston, David Kracov studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and began his career in animation with the Brad Pitt feature, ‘Cool World.’ David went on to work with Disney Animation, Don Bluth Animation, Rich Animation, as well as several other studios, before beginning his solo work as a sculptor and painter.
