Every Stroke Counts - David Kracov - Eden Gallery

About The Artwork

"Every Stroke Counts" by David Kracov is a dynamic 3D wall sculpture that delves into the depths of human experience and identity. Fashioned from galvanized metal, this heart-shaped work comprises elements resembling brush strokes; each painted with acrylics to create a cohesive yet dynamic whole. The metallic strokes merge to form a heart, symbolizing how individual life moments, emotions, and memories amalgamate to define our essence. Kracov's creation reflects on the fragility of the human condition; it muses on the idea that our completeness is subject to the ebb and flow of life's events, with each stroke adding to or taking away from the heart's fullness. As described by the artist, the heart awaits new memories like fresh paint on a canvas, underscoring our innate resilience and the perpetual quest to remain whole amidst life's changes. This sculpture is a visual narrative of life's perpetual motion, the art of remembering, and the beauty of becoming.
